Hi all. I am totally new to this hobby. I bought some Pedal PCBs and now want to source parts. I see there are things not listed on the (Chop Shop) build docs: stomp switch and phono jacks and power jack. I can figure out the stomp switch (3PDT) but I am not sure what to ask for in phono jacks and a power jack. I assume I would order the same phono jacks and power jack for each different build. Please enlighten me.

They aren't the best quality, the Lumberg equivalent is supposed to be more durable but I've never used them.

One mistake everyone makes at least once.... don't order a metal DC jack, it seems like a great idea but it won't work.

I just ordered the lumberg jacks from Small bear, $0.35 less. Just realized they are TRS but were same price as TS ones. I hope the extra pin doesn't cause issues...

Just leave the Ring lug empty and they will work the same as mono jacks, with a bit snugger fit.
Here’s a thread I started with some other suggestions for offboard wiring parts, I really love the StompBoxParts 3PDT switches and 1/4” jacks with teeth and can’t recommend them enough!

I vaguely recall reading here how using a trs on the input jack even when not needing battery disconnect had some benefits to keep noise low but I can’t remember the details.
