Pharmacist Board Questions

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and just received my PCB for the Pharmacist Pedal. I have build about a dozen pedals from kits, but this is my first pedal build sourcing the parts. I inspected the pcb and have several questions.

I noticed that under the 200K trim pot for the "Bass" there are 2 additional holes. What are they for?

If I align the transistor tabs on the 2n2222A's and the flat sides on the 2N5457 transistors to match the outline on the board, will the emitter, collector and base leads match the holes in the board?

The 2 LED's are marked as follows: square solder pad for cathode (-) and round solder pad for anode (+). Usually the square solder pad indicates positive (+). Which is correct?

Thanks!

The extra pads under the trim pots are to accommodate two different types of trim pots.

Yes, the silkscreen indicates the orientation of the transistors.

See this post about the LED orientation. The Anode and Cathode pads are marked on the Pharmacist.
