SOLVED Pharmacist - Lights but no Action

Fired up my Pharmacist build today. As Joe Friday would say "Just the facts"!

Plugged in the power supply and the boost LED comes on. Pressed the boost button and nothing changes, LED remains lit.

Switch on the bypass and the boost LED lights goes on/ off as designed.

Pedal passes signal when not on. When pedal is on, no signal/sound and none of the controls work.

Gut shots both sides provided.

I reflowed all the solder joints and the pedal seems to be working now. The only issue that I’m having now is the boost LED glows dimly when I plug in the 9v power supply. When I switch on the boost it lights normally.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Looking at the schematic, it looks like the LED circuit just goes power > 4.7k resistor > LED > switch to ground, so those are the only areas you need to investigate. It glowing dimly means there is a low enough resistance between it and ground somewhere between it and the switch I believe.

I reflowed the contacts on the switch PCB and it solved the LED issue. I need to wait to give a through “tone testing “. ;)

Thanks swyse for your help.
