Phase II trimmers

I’m in the middle of building the Phase II project and I don’t see any information on what to do when adjusting the trimmers. Is it an adjust by hearing type deal for both of them? There’s nothing in the build document or ordering page.

The 1K trimmer adjusts the brightness of the LED, the 10k adjusts the shape of the phase waveform...pretty much a go by ear scenario.
