EDIT: I shortened the leads on the BC109’s for a more snug fit and the problems seem to have evaporated. 
Powered up just fine but I’m wondering about the interaction between the pots. I was picking up some radio waves at first until I gave one of the BC109’s a push and made sure it was seated in the socket better.
The Bass pot (lower left) is the one I’m iffy about. It works fine for the first 50% of the pot’s sweep, but past 12’o clock it starts adding in noise like crazy.
Any ideas? I can post a video demo if that would help.
