Pro-10 - What's with the J201?

Looking at the BOM for the Pro-10 Green Overdrive, Blue Overdrive, and the Dual Overdrive - why is the J201 only on the Dual? What is it doing?

It's a buffer... it was listed as 2N5457 on the Green, either will work fine.

Fantastic! Easier to find 2n5457s than J201s.

2N5457 will bias better too - more headroom. We want a JFET with high Vp for Q1, which makes J201 a poor choice. Sub whatcha like, but be mindful of the pinout.

I should have mentioned, J201 is what was in the original... but yeah, what Chuck said.
