Hey, I was planning on troubleshooting this in the morning, but if any of you might owls might spot what’s wrong with this before me, Id greatly appreciate it!
Yesdoes the led light up when engaged?
sorry I meant when you plug into them are you sure your plugging into the correct ones, guitar-to in- and out to amp?Is lookin like theyre wired correctly on the IN/Out jacks
YEAH, I meant to clarify that as well . But i even tried it again with coffee in me and still no sound when the pedal is engaged.sorry I meant when you plug into them are you sure your plugging into the correct ones, guitar-to in- and out to amp?
Pots facing me, out cable on left side, etcsorry I meant when you plug into them are you sure your plugging into the correct ones, guitar-to in- and out to amp?
I believe I checked the Continuity right and the throw seems to be fine. No bridges. Maybe might be worth reflowing them a littleok, one issue that I've also had an others is with the breakout boards solder can flow under them causing a bridge. can you check your continuity on the footswitch both on and off you should have pins 1 and 2 then when you cycle it you should have pins 2 and 3 but never 1 and 3. Like wise pins 7 and 8 then 8 and 9. not 7 and 9. I believe I listed that out correctly. Someone please feel free to correct if I messed it up. Cooking and trouble shooting....
I do notDo you have an audio probe, if not it’s easy to make one.
Gimme just a moment and Ill post a pictureYep - I second the use of an audio probe.
Do you have a multimeter? When you soldered the ICs straight to the board they could have been overheated. So checking the voltage on the ICs will tell if they have been damaged.
It would also be helpful to have a picture of the solder side of the board.
I relaxed the IC that I guess wasn’t giving me any readings, so I swapped it out with a socket as well and still nothing when pedal is on. Clean tone comes through when offYep - I second the use of an audio probe.

Would something like this work?Audio probe time… you can either start at the end and keep going until you get sound or start the beginning and go until you lose the sound
