Not sure if this is the proper place for this topic but...
I installed new pickups in a 87 MIJ Squier Strat and added a jumper to let the lower tone knob effect the bridge pickup. It was my first work on a guitar so I was happy that it all worked (it is pretty easy after all).
However, now when turning the volume down, it does a drastic volume drop in the very early part of the turn. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that before. I've searched this topic and it seems like a common thing but many of the threads discussing it devolve into debates about audio and linear taper pots LOL.
Any thoughts?
