Apologies if this question doesn't make sense at first glance, but I don't know how else to word this.
I've never used a compressor before, and I'm not exactly sure I know what I should be listening for when I use one. Are there any settings I could try to really find out if everything is working how it should? The only peculiar thing I've noticed is that engaging the pedal occasionally creates a loud *pop* bump in volume that immediately goes down to regular volume. The Sustain knob adjusts the output of the Level knob when it's cranked high, which is how it's supposed to work according to the PCB pdf documentation.
