Squidward / Green Cyclope

First ever PedalPCB build. I'm a total "I don't know what I'm doing, I just follow instructions" guy.

I decided that since the Squid was so small and without any control, I used a smaller 1590B enclosure.

I renamed the pedal because it's kinda Green Ringer clone. :)

Initially it had a green LED, maybe I will replace it...

great build. Were you doing vero builds before?

I’m the same way. I follow the instructions. It’s a bit like a cool, functional LEGO kit. And not for nothing, a great way to keep a technology and craftsmanship alive. The fact that people still build their own stuff with a soldering iron is great.

Also, I’m a big fan of the creative use of an LED placement. I’m all about it.

Short story:

I first tried doing a Muff from scratch in 96 from a copper plate bought at Radio Shack. Not so much help from the internet at the time. It was a semi success. Then tried basic vero from http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/ in 2016 after I thought I found the holy grail of making my clones but after 2 different tries, it didn't work and the off-board instructions never worked for me. In despair, I bought 2 full kits from Aliexpress (fuzz and delay) that worked, thus giving me confidence to try again with stuff from PedalPCB.

So far so good, I'm ready to box my Chela/Talons pedal and I'm 75% done with Woodpecker Tremolo /Hummingbird.

Thanks for the kind words everybody, it helps the newbie! :)
