SuperHeterodyne Receiver issue

Hello everyone! Relatively new to building pedals so I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out with my current project. So I finished wiring up my SuperHeterodyne Receiver yesterday and was really excited to hear what it sounded like. I was so excited, I didn't realize I grabbed an 9V AC power supply. I plugged it in and engaged the foot switch and nothing. The pedal bypasses fine but all sound cuts out after engaging the foot switch. Additionally, the led doesn't light up. Plugged in a normal 9v DC power supply and still nothing. So my question is, did I power-fry something in the circuit? If so, what will I need to replace to get it working? If not and I made a mistake somewhere in the circuit, how should I start fault diagnosing this thing? I would really appreciate any help I can get to make this project work as I am fairly new to this! Thanks!!
