Tayda shapes drilling for slide pot?

Has anyone used the new Tayda lines/shapes customs drill tool to make slot for linear pot yet? They say minimum hole is 3mm, I’m wondering if that’s their smallest bit? And, will the ends of the slot be rounded according to the bit diameter?

Wondering if I should use the lines tool to make a rectangle of the outline slot I want, or just a single line?

I can ask Hugo as well… just curious if anyone’s gone through it already.

You'll want to draw out a rectangle, not just a single line. I've only done 3mm width rectangles, but they definitely have drill bits smaller than 3mm, the rectangles I did had squared ends, so teeny tiny bits went in there to clear out corners.

I wonder if they’d let you combine 3mm holes (at the end points) with rectangle to end up with a slot with rounded ends?

So far they haven't flagged it as needing to be changed, but I haven't received them yet so I can't confirm one way or the other, but that's my plan.

Hugo sent me example photos of this being done, so my guess is it'll work.

Just wanted to give a quick update, I got my latest order of Tayda enclosures and the holes/lines setup I have pictured above works a treat for getting slots with rounded ends.

I’ve emailed a few times asking for 1590A line cutting. Never heard back tho

Yup, I exclusively buy winked silver for everything.

If I put round holes at the end of the lines I don't need to first draw a full rectangle, right?
In other words, 2 holes and 2 horizontal lines are all I need to have a rounded horizontal slot:
