Very excited to do my first tube build soon! Any tips on sourcing good EF86? I saw that amplifiedparts has a bunch of different ones, any specifically recommended? Or should I go the eBay route? Thanks!!

I've bought a LOAD of tubes on eBay, in those hundreds of tubes I've only received one dead tube. And I just returned it as "defective, not as described" and got my money back.

eBay is a solid, I've had good luck getting NOS EF86 from there for good prices and never had an issue. I also use Antique Electronic Supply/Amplified Parts and have had great luck with JJ/Tesla EF86. I tried TAD for a while but they seem to be more microphonic than the JJ's I've tried.
