War Scythe (Muff Side problem)

Hey all,

Finished up my War Scythe, and the Octave and Tonebender work beautifully. However the Muff is giving me a low output gated fuzz tone. I'm thinking its one of the transistors, so does anyone with a working War Scythe have voltage values I could use to test?

I built a Hoof, which is the Muff part of the WS. Check the collector voltages on the 2N1308s. Should be around 3V. If it's less than 2V then your transistors are too leaky. This circuit requires low leakage transistors. Where did you get them? I bought some "2N1308s" from China and had to demand a refund because 9 out of 10 were shit. Fortunately for me, I had some real vintage 2N1308s for my Hoof. Other NPN germanium transistors will work, as long as the leakage is sufficiently low.
