Where can I find a 2MΩ Potentiometer for "Son of ben" or wire a stereo 1MΩ pot as a mono 2MΩ?

My son of ben kit finally arrived and it's the new PCB with footprint for a standard 3 pin mono potentiometer. My kit shipped with a stereo 1MΩ pot instead of a mono 2MΩ.

Does anyone know where you can buy an appropriate mono 2M pot? Or how to wire up a stereo pot to work as a mono pot of the summed individual pots?

sadly, because i'm in europe, that 60¢ pot is probably going to end up cost 30-40€ to get here in the end.

Looking at the schematic, I noticed that the the relevant potentiometer doesn't have anything connected to Pin 1. I suspect this schematic isn't really 100% accurate? Is Pin 1 going to VCC?

I figured out how to wire the stereo pot either as a variable resistor that goes 0-2M or a static variable of 2m, but I can't seem to get it to work with both being needed. It seems like I really do need a proper potentiometer to get this to work properly

I’m sure there are many online component vendors in Europe. Tayda is not US based although they have warehouses in the US it seems so it may be worth trying. A Google search from your country might also help (Google shows local results at the top). Somebody on Reddit recommended this site; may be worth a shot.

Lug 1 does not connect to anything, that is correct.

What type of B1M Dual Pot, Solder Lug or Right Angle PCB is in the kit?
