XB-MB gain adjustment

I built the XB-MB and it seems unusually aggressive compared to what I've seen/heard in reviews. It has a decided "jump" in gain very early in the travel of the GAIN knob from full CCW. Wondering if switching to an A1M from a B1M GAIN pot would provide smoother control in the lower gain area of the pedal.

Try a a C-taper pot to get more control over the first part of the pot's sweep.

I think the C taper would do the opposite (more resistance right away). The B taper is best for gain pots. I have built the XB-MB and have not noticed this issue. Maybe post some build pics so we can see if there are some other issues?
