Souldrive (Plimsoul) clipping diodes

I should receive the Souldrive PCB tomorrow or Friday and got some 1n916 diodes for the clipping section, should be similar to 1n4148 probably.
I also want to try some higher mV diodes like BA282/482 or MA856. Might open up the pedal a bit more so I’ll give those a try and see how they respond.

Anyone build this one already? Done some mods?

Cool, thanks. So the circuit is probably not targeting more open sounding diodes of 850mV compared to 700-750mV.
I will give it a try to see how it influences the behavior.
