I will say this: I too was not always a fan of the A2 magnet in these types of pickups but I think the Legends wind, the fact that it is unpotted, and the absence of covers really keeps these from being darker and they have a good, crisp attack.

@Big Monk are you able to get that "flutey almost single coil-ish" tone and dynamics with the neck Legend?

Any issues with microphonics under gain?

I've had some interaction with Wolfe Macleaod when I ordered my P90 for the Junior. Such a super nice guy.
I think I'm going to have him wind me a set of PAF's to spec. (slight underwind). I'll talk to him a bit what I want so not sure if I'll start with the Legend or the Dr. Vintage. They both look really good. Or maybe a Legend in the neck and Dr. Vintage in the bridge....or......a Dr. Vintage in the neck and a Marshallhead in the bridge.....or...or....or......heh
