Relay switching with a positive ground Fuzz Face?

That's very true, down to the fact that the "holy grail" of power in Fuzz Faces is a brownstone battery. That's a far cry from a relay bypass. I think I'll try to do a relay bypass Fuzz. I mean, it's a nice feeling, it's more reliable and I don't feel like chasing the dragon of 100000%...

Relay switching with a positive ground Fuzz Face?

Thank you! I forgot to add in the OP that I’m planning on using an LT1054 to invert the voltage, but do you think it will work without any issues? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fuzz with relay bypass

Relay switching with a positive ground Fuzz Face?

Hi, I'm thinking about building a Fuzz Face with a relay bypass. I will use the Latching Relay circuit from PedalPCB. Can this be a problem? Can the 555 introduce noise or make the Fuzz oscillate? Also, can the 555 be substituted with a 7555? Is this a good/bad swap? Thanks :)

Red Fasel or Halo in a McCoy wah? Both?

Thanks for the input, I didn't realize that the Sabbadius was available for around 30 Euro in Europe, will check it out. Do you have any experience with it and/or why do you like it? Do you think it would work well in a RMC4?

Red Fasel or Halo in a McCoy wah? Both?

Hi, I'm building a McCoy wah, and right now I'm deciding on which inductor to use. I found the schematics for the RMC4, which is what I will use when building mine. I've never had a Halo-wah, so I'm a bit interested, but the wah I have now that I like has a Red Fasel. Are these different enough...

Help me understand Wahs with Fuzz Faces and buffers!

Thanks, I've read that write up before I made this post, and it's great! I think the main thing I'm still confused about is that in the schematic for the Foxrox, there is a series resistance at the end, which I interpret your write up as saying that you have as well, but when looking at other...

Help me understand Wahs with Fuzz Faces and buffers!

Hi, I've read so much about this subject that I think I'm starting to go crazy, so I figured I would turn to others who could help me. I have a Wah and a Fuzz Face, and I can do the whole "oscillating FF"-thing when running the Wah into the FF, and it's not a great sound, so I want to learn how...

    Zonk II, anyone?…

Thanks! I saw that the pot values were incorrect, but I have not seen the link you posted, so thanks a lot, very helpful! I constructed the circuit on breadboard today, with the "fuzz" pot, and it seems to work pretty good! However, I found that the 10nF cap at the output removed too much bass...

    Zonk II, anyone?…

I'm planning on building this circuit and have some questions. I found the schematics for the Reeves ZO, and they are different compared to the schematics linked at the original post here. The "Fuzz" pot is not there, instead there is a fixed resistor and cap, and there is a pot at the input...
