Thanks for everyone’s input! I’m gonna return the Sequre tweezers because I found a handskit t12 iron in town on fb marketplace for 20 bucks and I’m gonna do the two irons!
I just bought some 63/37 solder for this exact reason. I’ve had the hardest time doing removal with one iron and got pretty hyper focused on tweezers but I’ve read that having 63/37 solder can help the solder not cool down as quick and allow for easier manipulation. I do really like the two...
Anyone have any hot tweezers they love? I just ordered some Sequre HT140 hot tweezers from Amazon to test out (thanks free returns) but wanted to see what other people use for SMD removal. I had a pair off AliExpress reccomended to me but currently they’re only selling EU powered ones.
