    Oh yeah - definitely drill AFTER etching. The one in the pic ended up getting thrown away. I had originally planned to powder coat the enclosures and changed my mind after I drilled. Bad idea.

    I've never built anything with an FV-1 chip, but I have a number of boards queued up which require them. They seem to be out of stock fairly often, though. If I buy the FV-1 chips from other sources will they still work? I can't tell from initial research if there is anything loaded onto them...
