5678 vacuum tubes for a DEFX project?

just ordered the DeadEndFX Petty Tears PCB cuz the description sounded cool. It's a clone of the Smallsound_BigSound Pretty Years. Honestly never heard of that pedal. The build docs call for 5678 tubes? I have never heard of these before. I found some on ebay for fairly cheap. Anybody ever used these tubes before? Anybody buy these before on ebay?

For subminiatures, I've mostly dealt with Langrex - I did have a whole batch of 5672 pentodes (very similar to a 5678) that had heavily corroded flying leads that broke as soon as the tubes were handled, and they replaced them all no questions asked.
 
Jeebus the prices on these things is all over the map-of-the-woild!


2023: Got some 5678 tubes from SynthBearSmallCube during a 30% off sale, thought I was getting a deal at
$7ea (reg $10) :cautious:.

2020: Don't see them on the website anymore, but I got a couple 5678 from Amplified Parts for
$3ea. 🧐


I'd prefer to deal with TheTubeStore, but they never ever seem to have any 5678 tubes.
