I can’t recommend the Cioks Sol / DC7’s enough for tube pedals.

I’ve made quite a few and 553mA is the lowest value I can quickly find. The tubes I use have a slightly higher current requirement (5814A’s). When cold the current starts very briefly at near 600mA before dropping quickly down to around 565mA and then slowly drops a further 10-20mA over the next...

    Bass with Onboard Nobellium

😎 unfortunately, I’m still quite new at PCB design and I’m headed into Christmas which - for a Pastor - means I don’t have a lot of spare time for my hobby at the moment 😊 But I agree a custom PCB would work best. Just to be clear, Nathan, are you okay for me or someone else to build a modified...

Bathtub Reverb Accu-Bell Effector Upgrade Project

Well... I'm not there yet! My prototype didn't work and it's mutch too crowded in the pedal when all connected to test safely. So... I'm thinking of building a few "in principle" modules so I can isolate what I've missed. And while I'm a but disappointed it didn't work, I've picked up a few tips...

Great minds think alike sir :) That’s definitely part of the plan! That will give me “most” of the space I need. Then I’ll move the jack up and to the right just a little so the 1/4” plug misses that red cap as well.

okay this side… So close but no cigar… out comes the dremel Output jack is too close to the socket. Looks like I’ll be making another prototype 😎 I’m hoping to get this one working though!

In parallel to the second cap in the DC CLC choke is a 100nF film cap underneath. Some of my C2CE builds don’t play well together even on isolated outputs on my Cioks DC7 so I’m hoping this will help.

The switch with capacitors is the Fc voicing switch for the wet path. Fc values were chosen to suit the different effects but always leaves the dry analog tube path unaffected 😋

The inductor for the CLC fit nicely where the reverse polarity diode should go. This diode is wired directly to the DC jack with heavier gauge leads to which the first bulk 220uF cap sits.

The switch with only resistors is a voltage divider to make an attenuation switch for the output

Getting the BTR board ready 😎 You may notice I’ve added a CLC choke at the DC input

I did change the pot footprints at the last minute so you’re probably right.

Nice work sir! I’ll have a look. I’ve since updated KiCad and now none of my traces are tracking properly as well. When I get a chance I’ll have another look. 😎

Yeah, I’m planning on using some enamelled wire for that. Front view, top pot, trace running through middle pin. Back view, top pot, trace running through square pin rather than going around it. Easy fixes but I was trying hard to avoid that.

But... I found two errors on my board... I'm not even sure how it happened. Check out the trace running through the Tone leg mount next to R9 and that pot's centre pin. Sigh. I'll have to work out why KiCad let me do that.
