You don't need to route ground traces if you are using a ground plane. Auto-routing is ass. You will end up with the mess you have here. You do you, it'll probably work but auto tracing isn't thinking about a good audio path.. Look at the trace from volume to the output pad. It's going right...

All boxed. Definitely a keeper for me. The backlit faceplate isn't captured well by the handy, but it's subtler than the pic.

"Fun" fact. If you sell products from Germany in any type of packaging then you need to track usage and pay a tax on the packaging to offset the recycling costs. I think France does similar. Just to add to the overhead..

Anything you sell in EU needs to be lead free, so if you want to do it legit then make them lead free. Probably less of a concern if you're state side but if you were in the EU, then you'd need to be able to prove compliance if the matter rose. Yup. Even harder when you want to have your own...

JLCPCB and 0402 components is the way for utility stuff. I love pre-populated stuff! Can make them so teensy weensy!

Just verified this. Already finding it an improvement over the original. Had to go through a few SMD 201s to find the right spec, but worth it! This will be my first box-up of the year. Thanks Dave!

Interesting read. There are some misleading numbers at face value. Ie. it looks like it costs 2c to build a pedal, when they are talking about the extra tariff cost per pedal. Bit of a rough time to be anyone in state side.. :(
