    Tube Amp Power Conditioner?

Unless your amp has a switchmode power supply, surge protection and all that other fancy stuff is not really needed for tube amps... Tube amps will overcome! Seriously, lightning can strike your house and a tube amp will most likely live through it. There's a reason that the USSR used vacuum...

    Help with Blues Jr STANDBY

Just turn the "master volume" knob all the way down when not playing, it's better for the amp... But if you insist, locate the 2 red wires coming from the power transformer. Cut ONE of those wires in two. Attach one of the red wires to one of the center lugs of the switch. Attach the other red...

    On-Off-On Sub-Miniature Toggle Switches

With what I'm trying to do, the submini "on-on-on" version should work. I want to bring out the internal dip switches on the Paragon Mini. I just need to meter out the switch so I wire it up correctly. Heck, I may even bring out the "treble" trimmer also. Lol. Thanks everyone.

    On-Off-On Sub-Miniature Toggle Switches

I'm such an idiot! I forgot an important part of the description... It needs to be DPDT. Sorry about that.

    On-Off-On Sub-Miniature Toggle Switches

Does anyone have a link or source where to buy some? I see on-on and on-on-on but no on-off-on submini toggles. Thanks

Is it always bad for the PCB to touch the enclosure?

I only scanned the replies so this may have been covered already, but when in doubt, put a strip of black electrical tape on the inside of the enclosure where the PCB may rub up against the enclosure. This is only a problem where there are copper traces at the extreme edge of the PCB, which most...

    Literature on electronics...

Forest Mimms wrote a bunch of books/articles which explains electronics very well, to the uninitiated. Some of them are probably available as pdf files for free on the internet. For vacuum tube books try this: http://tubebooks.org/ The above site even has the holy grail of all tube books, the...

    2SK208-Y available

2SK30 are the same thing as the 208s, spec wise. I have some through hole SK30s but I had to switch pins 2&3 of the fet for the board. IE. SK30s are SGD and the through holes are SDG. I used a GR SK30 that was on the low end for GRs, it's ok.

    Paragon - Modification questions

There is quite a bit of difference in headroom between 9 & 18 volts in this build. They both have their advantages. If you can, make it so you can have the option of both voltages... On most pedals, I never see much difference between the two voltages but on KOT and clones there is a very...

What was your first PedalPCB build?

Hi, my name is Daniel and I'm new to this forum... My first PedalPCB build was a Duo Phase. I have the Lola but it is so involved I just haven't been in the mood to start it. The Duo Phase has all the important stuff in it and it was quick to put together. The board layout is very nice and the...

Flanger To DIY or not to DIY?

If anyone is into DIY, here's something that can be made with 2 of Lectric FX Flintlock PCBs. It's and A/DA based flanger that can do through zero, both positive and negative. There's not many TZ analog flangers, I only know of the Chase Bliss Spectre and FoxRox TZFs... I've built a couple of...

    Yellow led duo phase

I'm finishing mine up and figured out a way to make the effect LEDs pulse with the corresponding LFOs. How I did it was take out the 4k7 LED resistors and sub them with a 30k but keep the end closest to the depth pot lifted and solder it to the #3 pin of the depth pot. See pic. Rate LED is...
