It would be interesting to have a mini one that drilled down for the top of the pedal, and then could hinge sideways or backwards to drill the end of the pedal for the jacks.

Yeah I was hoping something smaller than typical bench type, but the one I posted I don't think could drill the holes at the end of a pedal. I love the gearhead drill!

Can I ask another diode question? So you have the 2N7000 clipping elements around U1B and U2B. What's up with D1 and D2 after them and before the treble control? Why the second set of clipping diodes? Does most of the distortion come from these or the 2N7000s? Is there any usefulness in...

Not meaning to troubleshoot. I was mentioning it in case it was helpful for thinking about what they did in the revised pedal. Sorry if distracting. I'm all over the place today.

(To be clear I strongly prefer the sound of the Viceroy by itself when I'm normally playing but for this particular solo there is improvement in articulation with the combo of the two.)

What's the story with removing the diodes? Did they really have no purpose in the original circuit. I just picked up the version of the WIIO with the Post knob, and it sounds really good. I actually have on my pedalboard a Viceroy at medium gain going into this with the volume on the Viceroy...

Thanks this is really helpful! So here's where I'm a little out of my depth. For the Viceroy, better to go higher (11) or lower (9.4) in that part of the circuit?

Two pedals. The first is the Viceroy (Boneyard Edition). These are C10 and C11 in the mu-amp right where the magic happens. The second one is the Cataclysm Delay. I'm missing c5 which is near the 5v regulator just off of Vref. Maybe that one I could substitute with something higher? Thanks...
