    What's your nemesis circuit?

I love you guys but I do feel a little better knowing I am not alone :) It is a mid thing, like MF1 of the Amek Mozart MZ15-RN, just keep making silly mistakes like powering it up with 18v with 6.3v rated caps was the last straw today... WLCSP is way to small for my aging eyes, any good...

    What's your nemesis circuit?

Hehe, nope, by law in Switzerland you need your business address way too visible on your website, so it is public 😉 My legal expert (wife) reminded me that I am not allowed to post full schematics though 😅 Anyways, point being, what is your nemesis project?

    What's your nemesis circuit?

What is the one circuit that you have been working for way too long and keep failing at delivering what it should? I had planned to release this new model for black friday, and again, for the 20th times in 20 years, I made silly mistakes with the prototype and it sounds absolutely nothing like...

    Critique my circuit

I would add that your potentiometer should be 50k, so at minimum it would be unity, anything above adds gain. or you would need to swap the resistor in the negative feedbakc loop to 500k. Have a look at how gain is calculated here: https://fr.farnell.com/op-amp-gain-calculator

    Recommend me a pedal

Anyone who owns a rubberneck is entitled to my utter respect! This pedal is such a jewel of engineering... To build you could have fun with an octave down in the feedback loop of the delay, maybe the boss OC2, I think it's a pretty straight forward one. If you're planning to play around, the...

What voltage and frequency make the most sense for guitar?

Hehe, what I meant is a sine wave, one frequency only. What do you run transient analysis?

What voltage and frequency make the most sense for guitar?

What voltage and frequency make the most sense for guitar? I always see people using something like 440 Hz or 1 kHz, and around 200 mV peak for loud single coils or light humbuckers. I’m curious what you consider “realistic” when you run clipping sims. I’m working on an interactive tool to...

Pedal name generator, the pedal name roulette!

Perfect match I must say! The Feral Sludge Hammer for the next HM2 build 😂

For sh and giggles only, the latest useless tool I made to help you come up with the best ever pedal. Just click on "Spin" to get a random name for your next build :) Pedal Name Roulette

    Help measuring SMD JFETS

It is definitely not made for the industrial use it gets around here, had to repair the leads several times, and buttons are super fidldy with time.. I vouch for the project wishlist of a DCA75 PCB

Measured odd and common diodes IV curves

Sooooo... I made a new version of this, I hope to publish it really later this week, hopefully tomorrow. what do y'all think? any suggestion for improvement? IV bench - compare and try diodes

Ok, you got me motivated 😅 I will start drafting something soon and let you guys know!

    Repository for DCA75 measurements

I have wanted to do that for so long, but haven't taken the time, I want to get started soon but I think something was bothering me with the measured data back then, I need to get back to it... yup yup, I need to give it a little update to make it visually more usesable btw, I will keep you...

Should I expect to pay Tariffs on Tayda Orders?

I've got a real life example finally for a company in Switzerland selling pedals to the U.S. after the end of the 800 USD de minimis. The Swiss Post only accept to ship to the U.S. if we pre pay the custom fee. Here is a breakdown: Pedal is sold 179 USD Shipping: 34.30 USD Customs (39%): 69.81...

What's the special nature of Russian 2D503B diodes?

Here is the detail of the 100 I measured, not really readable so I took those out (for now) of the master plot:

What's the special nature of Russian 2D503B diodes?

Yup yup, measurements, I used the DCA pro to get the curves, measured about 100 of each to get an accurate average (do not judge me!). looks like the datasheet says about 1 to 1.2v at 10mA, I measured 0.8v at 10mA, I would really not mind if you pull the DCA to double check @Robert

Boutique Pedal Manufacturers Are Feeling the Tariff Pinch

I get the joke but it's not really about uncertainty, simply that carriers in Switzerland (outside of the EU) won't accept shipments to the U.S. starting today.. Swiss Post sent us this last night
