    JCM-800 pedal

Nice! I’ve used a 3D printer for a decent amount of pedal related stuff but never made a knob I was very happy with. What kind of printer are you using?

    And the Kloniverse continues....

I had no idea what that guy looks like. I wasn’t even close.

Big Muff Pi permanent tone bypass

Kit Rae has the tone wicker muff schematic on his page too. Just a suggestion but you could do an internal trimmer turned all the way down instead, that way you’d still have the option if you ever want it down the road.

Using trimmers in place of pots

You could do it with a piece of perfboard or veroboard. It would be pretty straightforward to make one in eagle and get them made up

    DS-1 v. Rat…

I did run across this early partial schematic for the Rat. I believe it was less reliable at the time though, only worked like once out of every two-hundred times.

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

I love that record, it’s wonderful. Though it’s more an experience than a record. One of my fondest memories of college is walking through the adjacent woods next to it between classes listening to that record on headphones, back in the minidisc days.

    Expectation: High/Low…

Built a Big Cheese clone using bc549c’s a few months back. Got the board for free, and didn’t have big expectations for it. I enjoy a good Muff or Tonebender, but the Big Cheese definitely brings something new to the table. It has the grit of a very good Tonebender, but with more focus and...

    Show us your...

My family found ourselves somewhat adrift for about half of last year, several thousands of miles from everything I owned, including all my gear. Scored this little purple guy for eighty bucks on Craigslist. It was a lifesaver. Have a collection of about half a dozen guitars that I’m very...

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

I saw those guys at a tiny bar in early 2001 was a very good show. I really like that first album and Howl, but haven't heard any of the stuff they have done lately.
