My next build is going to be a MKIII tone bender. Does anyone have a reliable source for a matched trio of transistors for it? I’ve found one on eBay for $38 shipped but that seems high to me. ETA: it’s OOS anyway.

Breadboarded the Thermionic Distortion this past weekend. It was up and running after some minor troubleshooting. My breadboarding skills are definitely improving.

I have yet to find a MMBFJ113 in stock anywhere. Mouser is the only place that shows an estimated arrival time which is 2/15/2023 🤦🏻‍♂️ ETA: I ordered another board.

WD40 works great as a cutting fluid when drilling aluminum and will help prevent your bits (regular or step) from galling. It also helps to keep them sharper for longer and to not grab the workpiece so aggressively.

I wondered if that transformer actually did anything when I built my Broadcast. Sounds like it was a waste of $10.

I have the Theseus, it's the only KOT pedal I've ever used but so far I'm loving it. It also stacks very well with the Refractor Klon Klone.

I did get the crankshaft overdrive to work on the first try and that felt great.
