My favorite thing about this is the firebird pickups. By "my favorite thing" I mean the only thing I like

Fender, the orange guy of guitarbrands?

On the other hand... Maybe if there were fewer Strat shaped guitars, there might be more reason to be original in guitar design???

It's up because it's unsightly and I won't have it ruining my pedals!

Fender, the orange guy of guitarbrands?

Cases that end in default judgment do not qualify for precedence as there is no actual argument or discussion from both sides

Fender, the orange guy of guitarbrands?

Watch Phil from Know your Gear, he goes into the details of everything. In the US, the strat body is public domain, but the headstock is not. Warmoth has a licensing agreement with Fender to sell their headstock shape, but there is no restriction on the body. In Germany, they have recently...

Fender, the orange guy of guitarbrands?

I have an SX Strat and a Fender American Strat and I prefer the SX because the fretboard radius is flatter. Nice one Fender. I'd love to trade the Fender in for a black SG Special

Fender, the orange guy of guitarbrands?

Curious that the first case they won was in Germany, where thomann is located. Also, they won by default when the other party didn't show up to court. But what if the other party was a shell corporation set up by Fender themselves? Do German court rulings have jurisdiction over other European...

That orange sparkle enclosure is nice! I'm jealous. I'd be tempted to put the JCM board in it!

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I want to do this for my router bits and drill bits but I've resigned myself to grabbing the wrong blown molded case every time I'm planning a garage revision this summer so maybe I'll be able to accomplish this along with that. It's always the smallest projects that are the hardest

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

If it's something in the shape of a resistor, then fold each leg in a 90 degree so they are pointing in the same direction and insert them into the PCB. If the resistor doesn't go thru and lay flat against the pcb surface, use pliers from the otherside of the pcb to pull it down. lay the board...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I don't miss it. As a 22x18 it was very boomy, which was a nice sound, though with some high overtones, but I like my kick drum sound to be quicker and shorter, more staccato. Also the thin maple shell helps a ton with projection and tone.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I resized my bass drum yesterday. It was a 22x18, but I made it into a 22x14 so it would fit in my 22x14 case :sneaky: I taped where it would be cut. Idk if this helps but I did it After Doing the bearing edge. Sharp 45 degree to match for factory edge Laying out for new lug holes All...

CONTEST It's Time for some Giveaways (Round 3 of 4)

rock it before you box it 222 jk I don't rock it before I box it My most disappointing circuit... definitely the Julia where I offboarded everything because I wanted a certain layout that ended up not working on my pedalboard. And the pedal itself worked intermittently. I rebuilt it, but it...
