    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

feel free to suggest the pedal for the space... for a bass player... gotta be something the HX stomp sucks at. (Still waiting for @Robert to get that Doom2 off the shelf... not even asking for the build docs!)

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

love it. For bass - It gets a lot of hate on Talkbass, the high pass filter is a chunk too high to be of use, and the drive sounds are ... erm well they sound good on demos on guitar but a bit unruly for bass... but set clean as a end of chain eq and sweetener with gentle transformer...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Lounge floor not workbench but ripped pedal board to bits at start of summer and just got around to rebuilding it. The mc6 I’ve had for 3-4 months now and not used. Which is daft. This eve was the first stage of rebuilding … wires to be added Apologise for only having two pedals I built myself...

    Cepheid Chorus for Bass

Boss CE-2 is legit for bass as is - the only thing with chorus I like is a HPF on the chorus line.

    Frequency Interchange Filter range adjustment

unless you've got something happening between 190Hz and 250Hz you really need to filter out... does it need modifying? Everything else you can set in the current setting. It's also 12dB per octave filters - so not super clinical (but sound good) so I would be suprised if you needed that much...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

So away in another thread I was asking about "how to change a VREF power supply to bipolar...." and the esteemed @Chuck D. Bones response was "well of course you'll be breadboarding this right?" er not having a big breadboard or lots of components sitting around... erm, lets skip that and go...

    Jlcpcb and tariffs

I think that’s because it’s done on where the value is created. So if imported a load of pcb and components from China and then sold them via a web store straight into the US from the lower tarrif U.K. where I am, it would still be due the chinese tarriff as that’s where the goods value was...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

update from last nights rant. Spent and age desoldering, recutting wires and rebuilding ... and it works but somewhere along the way the 9mm alpha pot decided to endlessly spin - so who knows what the craic is there! :( Was so annoyed I went and finished another one. Which worked perfectly I...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

It was a new project and a 3pdt breakout board Early this year I tired PCBA for the first time and made these lovely prunes and custard clones in Gorva M45 (1590A) with top jacks. I made 6, one for me, one for the friend who suggested trying it and sold 4 of them locally. Then a guy from...

Isn’t that just a standard fender style tone stack between the first valve stage and the HPF?

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

not a comment on your I/o boards as they are lovely but general musing... , It's a wee bit crazy we take the signal from one end of the enclosure and back again twice - I guess the solution would be an I/o board with a latching relay and then going straight into the effect board at the top end...
