I can't seem to find any 25k trimmers for this build ( so far). Can I get away with using a 30 k trim pot? It's the last part I need to complete this one> I wouldn't think there'd be a problem using a 30k since it's a higher rather than lower value. but, .....well that's why I'm here asking...

Got it . Thank you.. That's what I did. For me, DEFINITELY, a circuit needing much more focus on dialing in the trimmers to getting it to sound right. Tweaking the trimmers ever (EVER!) so slightly will change the sound a bit so I'd go back several times adjusting the trimmers. Mine works ...

Would it be possible to swap the bias resistors out for trimmers? If so, one would tie 2 legs of the trim pot together and then the 2 leads on the trim pot go in where the bias resistor is/was.. Can I raise or lower the value of any pots to coax more gain out of it or changing the 2n1306 to...
