    What plectrum does everyone use?

Tortex Pitch Black Jazz III 1.35mm if I'm playing like a normal person or Tortex Sharp 1.35mm if I'm playing very fast

    9mm Pots

Well, here's the thing: I'm not convinced. I bought 10 PCBs and then bought 10 more PCBs, and then did a huge order of the parts that I think belong on all 20 PCBs (with no experience)... and I won't have space in my office to actually sort these parts out and build something for probably 3-4...

    9mm Pots

Unfortunately, exactly these. Thanks much - probably cheaper and simpler to just buy the right stuff and maybe DIY some things with these 9mm pots.

    9mm Pots

I bought a bunch of 9mm pots like a bozo. (50 A100k, 20 B100k, 15 A1m and a smattering of others.) I assume all the connections and drill templates are gonna be slightly off as a result of the smaller size. Is there any good use for these or should I just reorder everything 16mm?

A friend wants a "flat mids" mod for his Klone...

I'm not sure but the source link is here, this may have the answer (I just plucked the image) https://www.electrosmash.com/klon-centaur-analysis

A friend wants a "flat mids" mod for his Klone...

The Tubescreamer bump is around 720Hz, the Klon bump is around 1k.

    Tayda predrilled enclosures

The last four rows are for the footswitches and the corresponding LEDs, right? I gotta steal this for the Parentheses Mini, combined with the other 5-knob templates from the super mega master list so kindly made by @finebyfine

    Informant in a Parentheses Mini?

Yeah, I didn't know if it was like the Muffin board where you can do variants - like I said, I dunno shit. Thanks :) Heh, not in a 125b! ;)

    Informant in a Parentheses Mini?

I don't know shit about shit, I'm a plug-and-play builder and have no experience customizing circuits. I almost don't think this even deserves a thread. The Parentheses (and the Mini) have a few different sorts of pedals going on in there (a RAT-ish thing, an octave thing, and a boost thing.)...

Anyone know what the Empress Fuzz is based on?

I've had one for 10+ years but I dunno shit about shit so, curious if anyone knows the roots of this lovely yellow Canadian box.

VFE Pedals -- An opportunity to become a "licensed builder"

This looks like it could make Klein Bottles more affordable and accessible so it is good because I want one. :)

    Gauging Interest in Microphone Circuits

Replying to show my interest in some generally microphone-related PCBs! I'd put a pair of FetHead things in an enclosure for sure.

    [Request] Promethium Boneyard Edition/KMA Wurm

I'm open to it! By the end of the month I should have some disposable monies set aside to send this off to ya. Where's the best place to contact you for your addr?

I am a novice, but I do. I appreciate your patience in advance. :)

    [Request] Promethium Boneyard Edition/KMA Wurm

I'm so much a novice that I doubt I could identify the Usual Websites, frankly, but did do some searching generally. Didn't find a schematic but did find a thread from about two weeks ago; someone removed their board and got photos of both sides: Source At least we know what the trimpots are... ;)

    [Request] Promethium Boneyard Edition/KMA Wurm

I sure do. It's SMD'd out the wazoo. (I still use a phone with a keyboard so the image quality may be subpar.)

    [Request] Promethium Boneyard Edition/KMA Wurm

Heyo! I'm here to humbly request a supermodified version of the Promethium a la the KMA Wurm. It has four bands of EQ rather than two, and the frequency for each band can be tweaked with a trimpot inside. I think this would be an absolute killer high-gain preamp pedal. The Wurm is extremely...

    Assembling Parts Lists?

Thanks, everyone. I'm almost done with my first large parts order... a few of the (non-PedalPCB) build docs call for specific kind of capacitors (electrolytic, film, ceramic, etc.) For PedalPCB builds and general builds, which kind are most common? Never mind - this thread from last year was...

    Assembling Parts Lists?

Where's the best place to learn about the Tayda sales? Their Facebook page, where the codes used to come out, says that the last code was about 14 months ago.

    Assembling Parts Lists?

Thanks for your help, both. I'm hoping that's the case - in fact, the only reason I'm not just buying a big pile of pseudo-random parts is that I'm worried I'll forget a component, having never done this before. haha, I definitely am not - at least, I don't know what that string means. Could...
