Barrage fuzz- Jfet and transistor bias?

I recognize that with a lot of our fuzzes we will bias the transistors to specific voltages, etc. the Barrage fuzz has a JFet (PF5102) feeding a MPSA18 transistor which is different from our typical fuzzes (Fuzz Face, Tonebender, etc).

With that in mind, do we need to bias these parts for optimal performance? If so, any suggestions?
