Caesar (and similar choruses) high end cut

I get the impression that the BBD cuts a bit of treble off and that it's normal, but I thought I'd mention it: it's really quite noticeable with my Caesar. I haven't tried different BBDs, wondering if I should. Anyone know how to brighten it, or is it just part of the experience?

It's just part of the experience. The output filtering keeps the upper frequency harmonic distortion to a minimum. BBDs are inherently noisy at higher frequencies.
