Has anyone ever though "I wish this bit crusher had distortion!"? Not me. Love the pedal but the Gain control is wasted space.

- So I cut out those clippers and set the gain at a good level.
- The carrier sound in bypass had to go too so in went a Millennium Bypass.
- Why have a two position switch when it can be three? Added another cap for even more clang.
- What to do with the unused spot where Gain used to be? I started exploring for circuit bends, value changes etc. Nothing until i came up with 'Ring' control. It adds a strong Ring Modulator vibe and at certain settings makes it trem. I don't know how useful it is but i really like it.
- I also played briefly with an LFO at the LM741 Pin 3. Made the bit crush phase in an out between clean tone. Pretty neat. I ran out of interest for the time being but I might explore that more later. Give any thoughts on that if you have some.
