Danelectro Tuna Melt

I don't know if it's been mentioned on this forum, but the Danelectro Tuna Melt would be a great project.

Those pedals are awesome with the main fatal flaw being their plastic casings and other assorted construction shortcuts. I've seen a fair amount of interest within pedal building forums for re-housing a Tuna Melt so I'd imagine that a clone would be well received. And you could even add a volume knob (or volume trim pot) to make it that much more useful.

Another that I already have. Great pedal, but a bit impractical .

I agree with Mike; making a new improved version from scratch might be a better option than re-housing.

I only used it at a handful of gigs. Mostly it's been stored. But I pulled it out a year or so ago and it's had some at home usage.
