Dirtbox vero build Way Huge Angry Troll 2P6T wiring?

So I just finished populating the Angry Troll vero layout by http://dirtboxlayouts.blogspot.com/. I'm about to do the offboard wiring but the 2p6t confuses me. The layout lists 6 wires to the 2p6t rotary switch. however the switch has 12 lugs. I looked at the datasheet hoping that might clarify things for me but I didnt find anything. Can someone explain how to wire the 2p6t switch or link me to a diagram? here is a link to the way huge page on dirtboxlayouts. The angry troll is the second project down. Thanks for any help.

It's been a while since I used one but I think you only use half of the switch. Hopefully this pic will make sense.

Yeah, technically it would be fine to use a 1P6T (1 pole, 6 throw) but I don't even know if they make them. It's just one side of a 2P6T, a bit of a waste really. Rotary switches.. wasteful in space and throws!
