Do you pay any attention to Capacitor ‘Life’ ratings?

Closest I can find at Mouser for a 100u
In polymer caps, Kyocera RPF series and Rubycon PZJ are close at 8-9mm up to 470u but you gotta watch the lead spacing. Some are 2.5, others 3.5.

That’s a 1u. You can filter by package size for others. The smaller ones are limited by voltage rating but they’re good enough for what we need and a lot easier than messing around with SMD legs.
The 1.5mm leg spacing works with a 2.5mm footprint.

Thanks, my needs are 22uF/25V and 47uF/ 25V. Definitely not interested in mutilating SMD parts. I still have a decent stash of discontinued Rubycons for when I need 5mm height, but 7mm works fine for nearly everything I build these days.EML1HM010C05OT | AISHI | Price | In Stock | LCSC Electronics
