Does ground-lift toggle switch quality matter?

Do I have to be selective when I pick toggle switches for ground lift? I see that Tayda has their switches for a fraction of the cost of the same switch at mouser, but I have heard that they don't get the first runs, or something. I wouldn't think that it matters (sound-wise) but it would be good to know for sure. I get that durability and longevity matter, so that is a consideration, too, but my question pertains to audio quality.

Switch quality is mostly about how hard it is to replace if it fails. If it is soldered to the board, you definitely want a good switch because getting out a broken one is not going to be worth it. If it is off board, it could be worth the gamble. Tayda makes their own switches, now. I've bought them recently and they seem pretty good, time will tell. Switches have nothing to do with sound, they just connect wires and traces. I'd recommend Love My Switches over Mouser for switches.
