Duocast with Hi-Cut

I have one of the Regent Sounds versions of the dual footswitch Broadcast with the high cut mod and thought it would be interesting to apply the same thing to the Duocast. Looking at the pedal there is a SPDT with a 10nf cap on the one side and a 4.7nf on the other. Each cap is connected to the switch and the ground lane on the board. The center of the switch is connected to lug 3 of the low vol pot and then to the board. I had thought that the lug 3 connection may be the output, but in every scenario I can‘t get it to work. It looks like such a simple mod, but there‘s something I’m obviously not getting. Wondered if anyone had any ideas? I can post pics if needed.

Lug 3 should actually work, are you sure you're not attaching it to lug 1?

Ok then, after a frustrating day of thinking I’m an idiot I came to the conclusion that I am in fact an idiot. I saw somthing fairly obvious when I looked closer at the Regent Sounds Broadcast. The wire from the centre lug of the switch goes to lug 3 of volume knob one, then to the board. The link on the board just goes to lug 3 of volume knob two. That’s it, works perfectly. I had assumed the link to the board would just be going out, so I was effectively skipping a pot .
