Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post this here in case any of you wanted to help out with donations. I’ve been emailing with a few forum friends expressing concern about the LA fires. I live far from danger but like many in the area I have close relationships with people directly affected.
One of these people is my friend Mike. Mike is a guitar teacher in my neighborhood. I took two years of lessons with him ~2016. He is also my daughter’s guitar teacher, presently.
Mike is a pedal collector, and I have spent countless hours over the years talking about pedals. He had over 100 rare muffs. The prize of his collection was a bunch of early serial numbered BJFE pedals.
Anyways, during the Eaton fire, they were notified that they had 30 minutes to evacuate. They grabbed important papers and a couple of guitars. Mike said it was rough to get even that in the car with the crazy winds. The rest burned to the slab.
