G'day,
Bought a couple of cheap grab bags of germaniums out of Eastern Europe from eBay, and was expecting a reasonable rate of failure due to leakage/poor gain - and to my shock, there was only a single bad transistor!
I've got:
*half a dozen GT402B's (100-150hfe, <150uA of leakage)
*handful of ASY37's (45-55hfe, <120uA of leakage)
*~20x Д18
*~10x OA75
*~20x 1Д507A
While I'm going to keep a couple for needing to fix fuzzes, I've obviously got a lot to build with. Does anybody have a suggestion for something different I could make with them? I have all manner of fuzzes and dirt pedals with germanium diodes, so not really interested in any of those.
I'll be doing another CNC'd G10 + brass eyelet board, so can't be too complicated
