Hey folks, I'm working on modding a Caesar to have a remote kill dry switch so I can flip between chorus and full vibrato using a switcher, i.e. as if the switcher turns the knob full clockwise to 100% vibrato.
So far, I've been able to get close to that result by tying pins 2 and 3 of the blend pot into a TS jack (see screenshot) and I am able to kill the dry sound and get a vibrato sound when T and S short, but I notice there is a big volume drop. A lot fainter than when the blend knob is turned full CW.
I guess there's more to shorting pins 2 and 3 to recreate a fully-clockwise blend knob. Has anyone done anything similar and what am I missing? Thanks in advance!
