Metasonix TM-7 schematic

Thank you for that schematic!

I've always been partial to the TX-1...

Whips in signal chains excite me.

I don't suppose you have the schematic to the TX-1?

Unfortunately not. This one was sent to me by someone who wants me to build it, but I’d be way out of my depth with both a tube pedal AND building from a schematic. If anyone wants to make a good chunk of change, I told him I’d ask around to see if anyone wanted to take it on. It’s for Dwid Hellion of Integrity. I can put you in touch.

I've got a couple tube-pedals in the works, and finishing off my first 5E3 (second amp build) — but I'm hardly qualified to build those for myself let alone perform pro-level pedal-builds for pro-level players — as cool as it would be to do so just for bragging/name-dropping rights. 😸

Yeah I’ve never even done a single tube build so I’d probably electrocute myself or something.

Funny that you should mention that, I was actually looking around for Metasonix schematics on the web today and I stumbled across this thread on the Mod Wiggler forums where Eric Barbour himself dropped a ton of his more interesting schematics, including the TX-1 and TX-2. It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in that particular brand of sonic carnage!

And in case you didn't feel like digging through the linked thread, here's the schematic itself:

As well as a version that's been 'cleaned up' by another poster in the thread:

Thanks very much for that, @Invertiguy, it’s been ages since I checked out MuffWiggler forums.

I see they’ve gone the way of BLMS, which is now of course just LMS (Love My Switches).

ModWiggler… ‘tis for the best in the grand scheme of longruns.
