Mini EEPROM programmer

So as per usual with me, I kind of dove in head first on this FV-1 stuff. I have built both the arachnid and the dev board. I wish they were one and the same where I could have a programmer on board but also access all 8 programs. I decided to prototype a mini C341A programmer that I could install in to the arachnid.

Below are pictures of two prototypes I’ve built so far. One is a little larger and could be hand soldered with the SMD components I picked. Other one is smaller and full on double sided SMD reflow oven required build. Both have a 3.3v power source on board with a solder jumper to either use power from USB or power from the pedal.

I’ve tested both on a breadboard with AsProgrammer and both worked great.

Next is to drop the smaller of the two in to my arachnid pedal and make sure it doesn’t cause any weird issues. Plan is to just solder 4 jumper wires from the bottom of the EEPROM socket to the mini programmer. I might 3D print a bracket to hold it in place inside the pedal housing.
