Mini Muffin Fuzz pot

I've built a couple of these and I really like the circuit. I would like to replace the 100K volume pot with a resistor and lock it wide open. I never turn it down anyway...
Do I put the 100k resistor across the in/out of the where the pot would go on the pcb (lugs 2 &3)?

Put the resistor between lugs 1 and 2

I turned mine all the way up and smashed it with a hammer.

Edit: I should have mentioned this effectively bridged legs 2 & 3 , while creating a post-apocalyptic look to die for!
