I just noticed a tool on the Tayda site, which is new to me, and I don't see in any of the Forums. They've posted a tool which you can use to check your PDF files before printing.

Here is a new tool to analyze your final PDF file, it can help you to see if your files has issues and it can explain the issues. It might not be perfect, if you see anything doesn't look normal please let us know. Here is the link to tool, After reading all the instructions and following all the steps explained in below, you can try to check your file with our tool PDF Analyzer ------->> https://pdf.tayda.com/ ( username and password is same "tayda" )

That's gonna be super helpful. I tried it out with some draft designs and some they already printed successfully. It caught the text I hadn't converted to outlines. It also flagged a few places where I'd filled with white in order to let the white layer or powder coat show through. I guess the RIP would prefer it be no color at all. Those areas printed fine in the past, because it's effectively the same thing, but it's good to know that it could cause problems.

I tried purposely leaving an extra layer visible (I use a temporary bottom layer to approximate the powder coat color) and it didn't flag it as a problem. It's inevitable that I'll someday forget to delete that layer before exporting the PDF. I assume they'd catch it anyway, but the new tool will at least make it obvious when checking it over before submitting.
