Off-Board LED Wiring

Hello all!

I am a dumbass, and fried the pads on my Triangulum PCB for the LED on/off indicator. The pedal works, but now I don't have an LED. Is there a way to wire the LED off-board if I used a 3PDT breakout board to hook everything up? The lugs are obviously exposed where they poke through the breakout board, so I figured there must be a way to just use some hook up wire attached to the correct exposed lugs and LED leads (with in-line resistor), but I'm finding way too many conflicting diagrams online to know which is correct for my specific use case.

Help me, circuitry wizards! You're my only hope!

Try this. Connect a 4K7 resistor to a LED, positive LED leg to the 9V, negative LED leg to the SW pad on the 3PDT breakout.
Try it without soldering to anything at first, but you should see if it works or not.
