Park & Ride control confusion

Hi all

I've just put together the Park & Ride fixed wah. It's working great but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what the Zone and Peak knobs plus the internal trimmer are doing.

They are definitely doing something, but I'm struggling to identify what exactly that something is.

Can anyone explain each of them to me in laymans terms?

I have not built this but I imagine Zone is the Q (frequency you are selecting) and Peak is the level of boost for said frequency. Not sure about the trimmer, but it looks like it maybe limits the maximum peak?
